Game Na Tayo!

These are the 3 games played during Family Day on February 11, 2007. Read on:

1. Pinoy Henio - Any pair of family members, 1 pair per color team. One member of the pair has to guess the word written on a piece of paper plastered to his / her forehead. The partner will use actions to convey clues about the word to her. The first pair to guess the word is the winner. Patrick Gonzalez provided the caps with the word slots.

2. Basketball Shooting from the Line - Father & Daughter teams have 1 minute each to shoot as many baskets as possible. The team with the most shots / baskets win.

3. Deal or No Deal - 10 contestants per color team listen to a question to be given by the emcees, then choose the correct answer from 4 (multiple choice). Contestants who choose the wrong answer will be eliminated from the game, until only 1 contestant remains. This contestant will play "Deal or No Deal" with the banker. The highest cash prize was P2,000, but unfortunately, the winner chose the suitcase with P75 inside it. Marie Mulingbayan provided the mock "suitcases" & questions for the elimination portion.

Sister Regina's Corner

The support of Sister Regina, SSC-W Directress, was invaluable to the success of the Family Day 2007. She made herself available for last minute consultations during the weeks & days just before Family Day, though she was obviously swamped with other obligations for the school. As much as she could, she gave in to our requests, like, for example, to allow the sale of "junk food" at the booths and to invite a band to perform at the end of the day. Thank you Sister Regina!
